    Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the tread diameter of the 0000-72008 load roller?
A: This load roller features a tread, providing standard compatibility with most Multiton manual pallet jack models.

Q: What materials comprise this load roller construction?
A: The roller combines a heavy-duty polyurethane tread (Shore A durometer 70D) with a steel hub. The polyurethane provides non-marking performance and durability for both indoor and outdoor material handling environments.

Q: What bearing specification does this load roller use?
A: This roller is loaded with two 6204-2RS sealed ball bearings. The 2RS designation indicates rubber seals on both bearing races to exclude dirt and moisture, ensuring smooth and quiet operation under typical manual pallet jack duty cycles.

Q: Are there equivalent or cross-reference part numbers available?
A: This load roller is equivalent to RL WHL-5013-TPTUM from Rol-Lift and UE H-1043-WHKIT from Uline. These part numbers represent comparable rollers with similar dimensions and specifications.

Q: How long does this load roller typically last under normal use?
A: Service life depends on floor conditions, load patterns, and maintenance practices. The polyurethane tread and sealed bearings typically deliver operating hours. Inspect regularly for flat spots, cracks, or bearing noise, and replace when tread wear exceeds safe limits.

Q: How should I store load rollers when not in use?
A: Store rollers in a dry, climate-controlled environment away from direct sunlight, extreme heat, or ozone-producing equipment. Keep away from oils, solvents, and corrosive substances. Store in an upright position to prevent flat-spotting.

Q: Can this load roller be reused after replacement?
A: Load rollers can often be refurbished and reused if they are not severely damaged. Inspect for bearing play, tread separation, or structural cracks. Worn tread can sometimes be restored through retreading services available from specialty suppliers.

Q: How do I identify when a load roller needs replacement?
A: Replace the roller when tread wear becomes uneven or excessive, when flat spots appear, when the roller no longer tracks straight, or when bearing noise indicates internal wear. A roller should also be replaced if the tread separates from the hub or if visible cracks develop.
