Product Description
Load Roller Assy, 3 inch Diameter Tread: Heavy-Duty Poly, Hub: Steel
Our load rollers are made from a high grade poly-urethane. These wheels are non-marking and are designed for indoor and outdoor use. The wheels come with steel hubs and are loaded with (2) 6204-2RS bearings. These rollers have a very quiet operation, and are beveled to reduce coning and even out wear. Listing is for one wheel assembly. Long lasting material will withstand even the toughest conditions. Very durable and easy to install. Designed specifically the Value Jack KD-5500.
Compatibility: Fits pallet jacks made by Valu-Jack, model KD-5500. Alternate model: KD5500; KD 5500. SKU: VJ 393-D

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What are the specifications of the VJ 393-D load roller?
A: The VJ 393-D is a load roller with heavy-duty polyurethane tread on a steel hub. It includes two 6204-2RS sealed ball bearings. The tread is beveled to reduce coning and distribute wear evenly. The assembly is supplied as one complete wheel unit.
Q: Is the VJ 393-D suitable for indoor and outdoor use?
A: Yes, the VJ 393-D is designed for both indoor and outdoor warehouse and material handling use. The high-grade polyurethane tread is non-marking indoors and provides adequate grip on concrete and asphalt surfaces. The steel hub resists corrosion in varied climates.
Q: What does the 6204-2RS bearing designation mean?
A: The 6204 designation indicates the bearing size standard. The -2RS suffix means the bearing has rubber seals on both sides, trapping grease and excluding dust and moisture. Sealed bearings require minimal maintenance and are ideal for warehouse floor environments.
Q: How does the beveled tread improve wheel performance?
A: The beveled edge on the polyurethane tread reduces coning, which is the cone-shaped wear pattern that develops under angled loads. Beveling distributes load pressure evenly across the tread width, extending wheel life and maintaining straight tracking of the pallet jack.
Q: Which pallet jacks is the VJ 393-D compatible with?
A: The VJ 393-D is a direct replacement for Valu-Jack manual pallet jacks, model KD-5500. Verify your equipment manufacturer and model before ordering. The bearing configuration must match your jack's axle and hub specifications.
Q: How should the VJ 393-D be stored when not in use?
A: Store the load roller in a dry location protected from extreme temperatures and moisture. Keep it away from direct sunlight and chemicals that may damage the polyurethane tread. Sealed bearings minimize corrosion risks during storage.
Q: What is the typical lifespan of this load roller?
A: Lifespan depends on load, frequency of use, and floor conditions. The polyurethane tread material and sealed bearing design provide long-term durability. Regular visual inspection for wear and bearing noise helps determine replacement timing.
Q: Can the VJ 393-D be used on both smooth and rough floors?
A: Yes. The polyurethane tread performs well on smooth warehouse floors and provides adequate traction on rougher concrete or asphalt surfaces. However, extremely rough or debris-laden floors may accelerate wear.
